The Opportunity This position works out of our Columbus, Ohio location and supports our US supply chain organization within our Nutrition division. Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active.

As the Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition , you’ll have the chance to lead a team of TA professionals to support the Abbott Nutrition Supply Chain (ANSC) organization.
This role plays a key role in delivering positive talent outcomes, creating and maintaining strong relationships, and working as a strategic talent partner with internal stakeholder while leveraging metrics to enrich TA strategies and promote ongoing team performance.
What You’ll Work On Lead and develop a team of Talent Acquisition (TA) professionals across a matrixed environment; supporting Nutrition's US Supply Chain organization. Partner closely with senior stakeholders (Director through DVP level) to understand business needs and deliver high-impact hiring strategies and outcomes.
Drive full-cycle recruitment for leadership and hard-to-fill roles, ensuring high-quality hires and exceptional candidate experiences. Design and execute best-in-class recruitment and selection practices including innovative sourcing strategies, direct sourcing pipelines, employer branding campaigns, and cost-effective recruiting channels.
Leverage data, metrics, and market insights to inform strategy, improve team performance, and influence stakeholders. Lead and contribute to strategic initiatives, including workforce expansion efforts, cross-functional projects, and global programs.
Build and manage external partnerships with academic institutions, diversity organizations, and early career to support talent pipelines. Foster a high-performance, inclusive team culture through coaching, development, and effective people leadership Drive change management initiatives and continuously improve TA capabilities across processes, technology, and ways of working.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 8+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, including at least 3 years in an in-house, matrixed environment and 2+ years of people management experience Proven experience leading full-cycle recruitment across functions such as commercial, manufacturing, scientific, and corporate roles.
Demonstrated success hiring for senior-level roles Strong leadership experience managing both individual contributors and managers in a global or matrix environment. Expertise in stakeholder management with the ability to influence senior leaders using data, market insights, and talent expertise.
Experience developing and executing direct sourcing strategies and talent marketing campaigns. Strong analytical and data storytelling skills with the ability to use metrics to drive decisions and performance. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, solve complex problems, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in consumer products, manufacturing or adjacent industries. Experience leading multi-country or cross-divisional talent acquisition projects. Advanced proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong background in change management and organizational transformation initiatives. Demonstrated experience in developing high-performing teams. Financial acumen and understanding of the business impact of talent decisions. Experience building partnerships with universities, trade schools, and diversity-focused organizations.
