More details on our benefits can be found on our website at https://www.itw.com/careers/benefits-compensation/ ITW is seeking a Manager, Global Mobility to manage and administer the company’s global mobility program (global employee relocations as well as short- and long-term international assignments).
The global mobility function supports ITW’s businesses by providing programs that: (1) align with ITW’s enterprise strategy and talent management strategy, (2) minimize complexity for our businesses, (3) provide appropriate governance around risk management, and (4) monitor program compliance.
This position is part of the corporate HR function and will be based at the ITW corporate office in Glenview, IL. Main Responsibilities: Develop and manage ITW’s global mobility and relocation assistance framework, program, and policies. Advise and consult with HR leaders on processes, policies, best practices and exception management for international assignments, transfers, repatriation or localization.
Assist them by proactively identifying and addressing issues and determining appropriate courses of action to ensure a positive experience for the assignee and accurate and timely administration for the company. Coordinates assignments and relocations with business unit HR and third-party partners who handle the administration of the various programs (e.g., relocation services, tax, immigration, etc.) Partner with internal corporate HR departments (e.g., compensation, benefits, payroll, HRIS) to design streamlined and simplified tools and processes that are employee-centric, relevant and compliant.
Manage the following third-party vendor relationships and contracts: (1) Weichert Workforce Mobility for relocations, (2) Ernst & Young for tax assistance and preparation, (3) Mercer for specialized international allowances and norms, and (4) immigration firms – Ogletree for U.S. bound employee relocations and BAL for employees relocating anywhere outside the US.
Ensure high standards are met, and service is exceptional. Responsible for overall program compliance oversight and serves as subject matter expert on the global mobility programs. Provide analytical and reporting support to assess the effectiveness of the global mobility programs Maintain current internal materials and access for HR to ensure an exceptional user experience.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, finance or related discipline Minimum 10+ years of broad global mobility / expatriate experience combined with HR business leadership experience Must have demonstrated experience working with common expatriate processes (e.g. international tax compliance, immigration, etc.) Results-oriented, highly motivated, able to complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven experience in identifying recommended solutions and resolving issues.
- Ability to work fully in the Glenview office, with flexibility in hours.
- Ability to work in a decentralized business environment and demonstrate flexibility by managing numerous priorities with tight deadlines Demonstrated ability to lead projects and achieve desired outcomes Ability to collaborate and build relationships cross-functionally Exceptional Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- including functions, vlookups and pivot tables Compensation Information: The compensation package for the role offers a competitive base salary ranging from $145k to $155k annually.
- The role is eligible for an annual bonus.
