Job Description

Finance Manager | Business Planning & Analysis Want to make an impact? As part of our team at TJX, you will manage a team of Financial Analysts & Senior Financial Analysts to assist Senior Leadership with driving business decisions and supporting strategic financial initiatives for a multibillion-dollar business line.

Your day-to-day will present challenges to drive impact for the leading off-price retailer in the world. A successful candidate will work on multiple projects simultaneously that will be reviewed by Senior Executives. Further, you be asked to think critically, analyze effectively, and communicate efficiently.

Responsibilities include: Managing the processes and activities of the finance division to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate reporting and analytics Leading and overseeing workloads to ensure time critical projects are delivered as expected Driving the development of analytical models to forecast and understand short- and long-term trends Responsible for driving analysis to provide relevant Executive Level guidance on business performance and areas of risk and opportunity Coordinating / Performing standard reporting with excellent attention to detail Playing a leadership role on projects & new initiatives Delivering strategy and recommendations on various initiatives across all levels of Management Managing and mentoring associates with training and professional development Building relationships with operational partners across the business Requirements: 5+ years of relevant experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, Public Accounting, Consulting, Investment Banking or other related fields Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting preferred; MBA a plus Prior experience leading teams in a dynamic, fast paced environment with a focus on associate training and development Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint presentation development skills; ability to develop robust interactive excel models independently Excellent communications skills with the ability to deliver insights, recommendations, and results concisely and effectively to Executive Level management Ability to work with ambiguity, removing obstacles and maintaining focus in complicated situations to deliver results for self and team Promotes collaboration within team & cross-functionally and actively finds opportunities for improvements Benefits include Associate discount; 401(k) match; medical/dental/vision; HSA; health care FSA; life insurance; short/long-term disability; paid holidays/vacation /sick/bereavement/parental leave; EAP; incentive programs for management; auto/home insurance discounts; tuition reimbursement; scholarship program; adoption/surrogacy assistance; smoking cessation; child care/cell phone discounts; pet/legal insurance; credit union; referral bonuses.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
