Key Responsibilities Own and manage end-to-end content deliverables for security events, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timeliness across all communications Drive the development of communication plans for critical incidents, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information Execute operational workstreams with precision, including customer notification delivery, translation coordination, customer contact retrieval, and management of enablement channels Develop compelling, audience-appropriate multi-channel content for the CSOC Customer Security program, including customer-facing notifications, internal briefings, and executive summaries Create and maintain a repository of communication templates, talking points, process documentation, key contact directories, and guidelines for various security scenarios Support development of automated, AI-driven workflows and tools for Security Response Communications program Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, PR, Engineering, and Customer Success, to ensure coordinated and accurate messaging during active security events.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in security communications Required Skills 3+ years of experience in communications, preferably with a focus on security or technology Experience developing customer-facing communications for executives and technical staff Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, accessible language for varied audiences.
Strong understanding of incident management processes and security concepts Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; ability to work effectively under pressure and manage crisis communications Ability to use communication tools and technologies, such as mass notification systems and collaboration platforms Desire to work with cross-functional teams and senior leadership High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, particularly when handling sensitive or time-critical information Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to understand and comply with regulatory requirements related to security communications Unleash Your Potential When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life.
