Key job responsibilities ACES Finance Interface & Portfolio Accountability - Serve as the single-threaded FTR finance point of contact for ACES Finance on all NACF portfolio matters, owning the relationship, cadence
- communication - Drive alignment between FTR and ACES Finance on savings methodology, reporting standards
- financial validation of automation programs - Resolve discrepancies between FTR and ACES financial systems proactively to ensure both teams operate from a single source of truth - Validate projected savings at concept stage against actual realized savings post-deployment, closing the loop with ACES Finance - Quantify the financial impact of deployment delays and stalled automation, providing data-backed escalations - Define and maintain input metrics comparing FTR vs. ACES performance across the portfolio - Support the FTR | ACES WBR with financial data, variance analysis
- portfolio health reporting Build vs. Buy & Acquisition Analysis (FTR-Wide) - Support sensitivity analyses for acquisition scenarios, identifying break-even thresholds, success scenarios
- walk-away points - Develop custom financial models comparing internal development costs against acquisition and licensing alternatives where no historical Amazon benchmarks exist - Evaluate total cost of ownership, time-to-value, scalability
- integration complexity across all five FTR business units (AFT, AR, OTS, WWDE, OMHS)
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics
- a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science) - 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience - 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience - 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis
- recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements
- customer benefits) experience - MBA
- CPA - Knowledge of SQL/ETL - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) - Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting
