Who we are looking for This Business Analyst role will need to contribute in implementing the new Core Banking, Payments and Cash infrastructure for PCC program. Contributing in modernizing the Core Banking Application (Transact), payments applications such as RPH, RTPS, SSPH, SWIFT ISO20022 Migration and other associated applications, and adopt the Agile methodology, Kanban Methodology and perform testing for all the applications being developed (Nostro funding, Book Transfer initiation, etc.).

Why this role is important to us Payment Cash Custody - BUAT & Data Governance function, is vital to State Street Corporation – investment Servicing business area and is the key enabler to increase the operational efficiency, real-time payments, Liquidity, modernization and automation.

We’re looking for top business analysis talent to join our team and deliver standardized business analysis, Business User Acceptance Testing (BUAT).

What you will be responsible for As a Business Analyst – Senior Associate, you will work on multiple of dimensions below: Analyze, document, and improve payment and cash custody workflows to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
Work closely with technology, operations, and risk management teams to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable solutions. Support the implementation of new systems and enhancements, including user acceptance testing and post-implementation review.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators for cash custody and payment processes, identifying potential risks or areas for improvement. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in payments and cash management.
Review and analyse functional specifications. Review & provide feedback on system design/specification documents. Prepare Test Scenarios, Test Cases and execute Business User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing, End-to-End System, Integration testing and other Adhoc testing Participate in configurations, data mapping, and system implementation tasks.
Perform regression testing for Transact, IBT, CRCU, DWH, MYSS, RPH, SSPH and all the in-scope applications in PCC and identified defects Work with automation team to automate the regression test cases Report progress, risks and issues to Project Leads.
Produce future state operating model and assist with the creation of business procedures. Collaboratively work with all PCC program stakeholders Facilitate user acceptance testing (BUAT) with business units and coordinate the resolution of issues identified during testing phases.
Investigate on the open defects/issues reported by the team and work closely with system vendors or internal IT teams for prompt resolution; Engage with Business SMEs to understand business requirements & liaise with associated PCC Program team (Ex: Automation Team, Dev Team & Other) & ensure that business requirements are met Business Analysis, Requirements gathering, liaise between business and the application dev teams, test cases creation as per the stories, execution in BUAT/UAT, & work closely with multiple stake holder - highly preferred.
Experience in Investment Banking Cash and Payments Products Cash, SWIFT payments, FED wires, Overdrafts, Reconciliation, Corporate Actions products and relevant Custody knowledge Execution of test scripts, documentation of testing status, test case evidences, potential defects encountered in the test execution Good in identifying, tracking the defects/issues in test environment prior it goes to live production Perform data analysis and reconciliations to support operational and strategic initiatives.
Prepare detailed business and functional specifications for technology teams. Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, translating business needs into actionable requirements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies relevant to payment and custody operations What we value These skills will help you succeed in this role: Display a culture of individual ownership of tasks to embed a clear individual sense of accountability in performing the role Perform Business User Acceptance Testing and proactively manage and close out system defects and issues in line with business expectations; Work with Business stakeholders, Business SMEs and Technical teams to support the PCC BUAT and Data Governance workstream responsibilities Provide and maintain documentation including Business Requirements documents, Project plans, Test plans, System release notes and Training guides for business users; Perform deployments validations in Transact, IBT, DWH, MYSS, SSPH and other required applications in PCC project to check the health on applications and systems following completion of infrastructure/patching updates and work with IT teams to resolve any issues Ensure that the highest level of the Code of Conduct is displayed in your behaviour Provide appropriate management information as required to support business unit decision making Support the ‘Risk Excellence’ culture within the business Adhere to limits of delegation and escalation procedures required by your manager so that you comply with internal policies and external regulation Education & Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s Degree in Finance/Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
A minimum of 3 Years of experience in business analysis, preferably within payments, cash custody, or financial services. Effective Project timelines management Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Familiarity with payment platforms, cash custody systems, and relevant regulatory frameworks. MS Office Suite Experience in MS - Visio Jira and Confluence Experience in Agile, Scrum and Kanban methodologies, Values : Integrity, Commitment, Collaboration & Transformation Attention to detail and ability to handle complex workflows.
