As an Application Engineer in our active safety division, you will be the key technical bridge between our core development and individual UK vehicle manufacturers. Your primary focus will be tailoring our world-class safety systems to meet the unique demands of our customers Your responsibilities: Support the development and calibration of ABS, TCS, VDC
- value-added functions (VAF). Assist in vehicle testing, calibration
- verification activities in: Test vehicles Simulation environments (e.g., MIL/SIL/HIL) Participate in test campaigns across Europe (e.g., Germany, Sweden, Spain, Italy). Analyse measurement data and support calibration improvements under guidance. Contribute to structured handling of changes throughout the project lifecycle. Work closely with senior engineers, project management

- Essential skills, abilities and qualifications Degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering
- similar. Basic understanding of vehicle dynamics and/or braking systems. Strong analytical thinking and willingness to learn from data. Good problem-solving skills with a structured approach. - project experience in automotive engineering or vehicle testing. Exposure to vehicle dynamics, ESP/VDC
- chassis systems. Familiarity with automotive tools (e.g., CANalyzer, CANape, INCA, ETAS tools). Basic knowledge of simulation environments (MIL/SIL/HIL). Experience with MATLAB/Simulink or similar analysis tools. Understanding of CAN or other automotive communication protocols. Knowledge of functional safety principles. Basic German language skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally for testing activities. Comfortable driving and travelling as a passenger in vehicles during dynamic testing situations.
