As our next Manager, Treasury Operations, you will be overseeing Neo’s program-related cash management operations and controls to ensure our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role is crucial for optimizing our financial resources and mitigating risk, making you a key player in Neo’s financial health.
What you'll be doing You will own the Treasury Operations function at Neo, which delivers on several aspects of our deposits and lending partner management, including: Cash Management Controls: Daily oversight for the reconciliation of complex account balances, transaction volumes and related rails for our deposits and lending programs, taking into account in-flight payments, reversals, time-zones, disputes and other complications.
Incident management and impact assessments (e.g. manage impact from processing errors or outages) including investigation, mitigation, recovery, and reporting/escalation to other teams and external parties where relevant. Facility Management: Daily oversight and monitoring of borrowing requirements, lending facility concentration and eligibility criteria limits, including any related migration work.
System and Resource Management: Lead our Snowflake-enabled processes for Cash Management Controls and Facility Management, along with relevant partner banking platforms, driving process improvements and automation/AI to enhance efficiency and allow Neo to scale-up.
You are the subject matter expert for reconciliation and daily facility management, ensuring that such requirements also comply with any related regulatory requirements. You will provide guidance on any implications of new product or business scope from our Product or Banking teams for changes that impact our existing processes.
You lead, mentor and manage a team dedicated to ensuring the best outcomes for customers, Neo’s teams, and our partners. You are a champion of strong documentation and processes, leading a critical control function for Neo. Who We're Looking For You possess a minimum 3 - 5 years of experience building a Treasury Operations, Cash Management or Treasury function.
You have experience in the banking industry, and/or experience with payments processing in Canada. You understand the impact of payment processes on the experience of Neo’s customers. You are highly organized, and have effective planning and time management skills.
You’re a strong problem solver with risk management skills.
