- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and services
- Lead architectural decisions and technical planning across the stack
- Build and enhance user interfaces using React
- Develop backend services and APIs using Python or Go
- Design and optimize relational database schemas using PostgreSQL
- Leverage AWS infrastructure and services to ensure scalability, security, and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile development processes
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence
- Own features end-to-end, from ideation to deployment and monitoring Requirements:
- Education and Experience: o 5+ years of professional software development experience. o Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer contributing to complex projects. o Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Expertise: o Strong experience building user interfaces with React o Proficiency in Python or Go for backend development (ideally both) o Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway) o Solid understanding of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL o Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. o Experience with CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform or CloudFormation) is a plus o Knowledge of software security best practices (OWASP Top 10, secure coding). o Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code o Excellent problem-solving and communication skills o Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. o Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
