Sr. QE Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to best practices in test automation, code quality
• framework design Design, build and maintain reliable, scalable
• maintainable test suites Implement efficient locator strategies (CSS, XPath, Playwright locators, etc.) to improve stability Leverage AI/Agent-based automation approaches to enhance productivity and test coverage Drive adoption of modern automation tools (Playwright / Selenium) Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless execution Perform root cause analysis of test failures and reduce test flakiness Collaborate with developers, product teams
• DevOps for shift-left testing Share knowledge and mentor team members on automation standards and modern practices Required Skills & Experience: 7+ years of experience in Test Automation Strong expertise in Selenium and/or Playwright Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript / Python Hands-on experience with locator strategies (dynamic elements, shadow DOM, iframes, etc.) Familiarity with AI Agents / intelligent automation tools for test generation or execution Experience using Visual Studio Code with Copilot or similar AI-assisted coding tools Solid understanding of web technologies (DOM, APIs, browser behavior) Experience with test frameworks, assertions
• reporting tools Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Good to Have: Experience in API automation (REST/GraphQL) Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.) Exposure to performance and security testing Understanding of cloud-based test execution and parallelization Experience in test data management and mocking/stubbing Leadership & Soft Skills: Contribute to automation strategy and continuously improve engineering practices Mentor and support team members on automation standards and tools Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders Proactive mindset toward learning and continuous improvement Preferred Candidate Profile: Passion for modern test automation and AI-driven testing Focus on improving efficiency and reducing manual effort Strong hands-on contributor with ability to guide and influence peers What you’ll get in return High-impact projects: We work on a variety of pioneering AI products and leverage extensive datasets to solve complex, high-value challenges.
