Key job responsibilities 1. Lead the design and implementation of complex, large-scale systems and features that enhance the Prime Video customer and advertiser experience 2. Architect and develop robust, scalable APIs and services that handle millions of concurrent users and billions of requests 3. Evolve and build services that are highly reliable and extremely low latency 3. Drive adoption of GenAI-powered development tools like AI pair programming, automated code reviews
AI-assisted testing to improve code quality and developer productivity 4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical strategies and contribute to the team's long-term roadmap, including integration of emerging AI technologies 5. Mentor junior engineers on effective use of both traditional and AI-powered development tools while contributing to the team's growth 7. Analyze and optimize system performance, scalability
reliability using data-driven approaches
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience - 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems
services using: C#, C++, Java
Perl experience - 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience - Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics
a related field - Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing
