About the role We are recruiting a Specialist Digital , to champion the voice of our Iron Ore Frontline workers across Mines, Rail and Port in the realm of Operations & In-Shift Decision Intelligence.

Working closely with users, process owners and global digital product development teams the role will be instrumental in driving productivity improvement through the use of digital products and technology, while protecting the user experience of the Iron Ore frontline workforce.

You’ll be part of a friendly team, supported by your leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. Reporting to the Principal Digital, you will be responsible for: Building quantitative value cases linking system capabilities to operational outcomes (e.g., productivity, cost, throughput) Contribute to roadmap prioritisation using value vs. complexity analysis Support the design of decision-centric workflows and decision modelling initiatives Collaborate on integrating predictive analytics, AI, simulation and next-best-action capabilities Analyse large-scale operational datasets (IoT, equipment, production, alerts) to identify patterns, root causes, and opportunities Define and validate KPIs, metrics and alert logic supporting decision-making Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure data models reflect business needs Support development of alerting and contextual insights to improve decision quality What you'll bring Subject matter expertise with business experience in either maintenance, asset management or work management An engineering or technical background Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to prioritise tasks based on business requirements Ability to understand product issues and communicate these and actions required to different levels in the organisation Ability to cope with continually changing, complex environment Product management, Project Management and Change management experience Experience in product ownership, SCRUM/SAFe or working with other agile frameworks Demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively It would also be beneficial if you have: Working knowledge or experience in the use of in-shift decision systems, digital twins or planning or execution systems in Mining What we offer Be recognised for your contribution, your thinking and your hard work, and go home knowing you’ve helped the world progress.
