Amazon's Kindle Software team is looking for a Principal Product Manager-Technical to build innovative AI experiences for the millions of people who use and and love Kindle's devices and apps every day. In this role, you'll shape the future of reading by defining fundamental building blocks for cross-cutting experiences on Kindle and across Amazon. The successful candidate will have experience leading “must-have” consumer apps, combining passion for amazing customer experiences with the ability to work closely with design and engineering. - directly managing all aspects of the product roadmap. She or he must be highly analytical and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality, simple products and apps that customers love. Key job responsibilities
- Own end-to-end product strategy and roadmaps for core experiences on Kindle, working closely with engineering, design, and ML teams to deliver delightful user experiences
- Define key user journeys and use cases that leverage generative AI to enhance reading comprehension, discovery, and engagement
- Drive product requirements through deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and technological capabilities
- Serve as a key influencer in developing and auditing business strategy, contributing significantly to the overall Kindle strategy, and customer engagement and analytics.
- Work with teams across Amazon and Books, and cross-functionally with engineering, design, and research to deliver an inspiring product roadmap that balances short term wins with long term bets based on that vision.
- Role is global in nature and will work with teams in other countries. - Bachelor's degree - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Experience technical product management
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements - Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis
