The Engineering Senior Advisor is a senior technical role responsible for designing, building, and improving data and software solutions that support business decisions across the enterprise. This position provides technical leadership, solves complex engineering challenges, and works across teams to deliver scalable applications, APIs, event-driven services, and big data solutions.

The ideal candidate is passionate about coding, enjoys learning new technologies, and thrives in a collaborative Agile environment. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain applications across the full technology stack (front-end, middle-tier, and back-end).

Build and enhance RESTful APIs and event-driven services in distributed environments. Design and develop data applications using modern tools and frameworks. Create and maintain big data pipelines for both batch and real-time data processing.

Analyze large datasets to identify trends, relationships, and business insights. Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise analytics and reporting solutions. Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex engineering initiatives.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Support the development of scalable and reliable data and software solutions. Share knowledge, mentor team members, and promote engineering best practices. Qualifications Required Qualifications Must be a current contractor with Cigna, Express Scripts, or Evernorth.

Experience developing applications across the full technology stack. Experience building RESTful APIs and working with distributed systems. Knowledge of data engineering concepts and big data technologies. Strong programming and problem-solving skills.

Passion for software development and continuous learning. Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment. Self-motivated with strong collaboration and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience; OR Master's degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience; OR 11+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Experience managing or leading large technical projects. Experience with Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD. Experience designing and implementing event-driven architectures. Healthcare industry experience. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 111,700 - 186,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location. This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
