We are looking for an Electrical Engineer experienced in High Voltage (HV) to support the technical capability of the HMNB Clyde Design Authority (DA). This role will be suited to engineers with experience in HV Electrical Design, although candidates experienced in HV Electrical Installation or Maintenance are also welcomed.
About the Role We are seeking an Infrastructure Risk Manager to support the effective management of infrastructure risk within a complex and highly regulated environment. In this role, you will own and maintain the Infrastructure Risk Register, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, monitored, and reported in line with established policy and governance requirements.
You will provide a clear, consolidated view of infrastructure risks, helping stakeholders make informed decisions and ensuring mitigation activities are effectively tracked and managed. Responsibilities Own and maintain the Infrastructure Risk Register, ensuring risks are accurately captured, assessed, monitored, and reported.
Coordinate regular risk reviews with infrastructure teams to ensure risks remain current, appropriately scored, and supported by effective mitigation plans. Monitor the progress of risk actions, ensuring accountability and timely updates from risk owners.
Produce risk reports, summaries, and trend analysis to support governance meetings and compliance forums. Support the escalation of significant or emerging risks, enabling informed decision-making by senior stakeholders. Ensure alignment between infrastructure risk management activities and wider integrated risk management frameworks.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk management processes, tools, reporting, and governance practices. Required Experience Risk management knowledge and experience. Infrastructure-related experience. Ability to manage, analyse, and communicate risk information effectively.
Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills. Qualifications HNC or equivalent qualification and experience in a relevant engineering discipline. Detailed knowledge of electrical infrastructure design intent within the nuclear industry or a comparable regulated industry.
