Packer

The Packer is responsible for preparing finished products for shipment by labeling and packaging items efficiently and accurately. This role ensures that all products meet quality standards and are packed according to company and customer requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment Follow company packaging standards and safety procedures Assemble boxes or containers as needed Seal containers using appropriate materials Record and report damaged or defective items Maintain clean and organized work areas Meet daily production and packing quotas Operate basic warehouse equipment Minimum Required Skills and Education High school diploma or GED Previous packing experience in a manufacturing environment Must be able to effectively read, write and communicate in English Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team Basic math and counting skills Strong attention to detail Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours per shift Perform repetitive movements such as bending, reaching, stooping Ability to lift and carry up to 35-40 lbs regularly throughout the shift Must wear any required PPE Compensation Information: $23 ITW is an equal opportunity employer.
