All Job Posting Locations: Bangalore, Karnataka, India Job Description: DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Manager, Core Platforms, located in Pune, Maharashtra. The Manager, Core Platforms provides leadership and operational oversight for core HR and people‑related technology platforms at DePuy Synthes.
This role is responsible for ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement of foundational platforms that support critical HR and business processes. The position plays a key role in enabling scalable global operations, improving user experience, and supporting digital transformation initiatives across the organization, making it an exciting opportunity to influence how technology enables people and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Lead the day‑to‑day management and operational performance of core HR and people technology platforms. Partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure platforms meet functional and operational requirements. Oversee platform stability, enhancements, upgrades, and issue resolution activities.
Establish and maintain governance, standards, and controls for core platform operations. Drive continuous improvement, automation, and optimization of platform‑enabled processes. Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure quality and value delivery.
Monitor performance metrics and service levels to ensure reliable and efficient platform operations. Lead and develop a high‑performing team supporting core platform operations and delivery. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems , Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is required .
Master’s degree or MBA is preferred. Experience and Skills
Required
- Typically 6-8 years of progressive experience in technology platforms, HR systems, or related operational leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience managing enterprise or core technology platforms in a global organization.
- Strong understanding of platform operations, system integrations, and service management practices.
- Proven ability to partner with cross‑functional and senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and operational management skills.
- Excellent communication and people‑leadership capabilities
Preferred
- Experience supporting HR, people, or enterprise platforms including Workday in a shared services or global model.
- Familiarity with Workday HCM, cloud ‑ based platforms, or digital workplace technologies.
- Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, medical devices, or life sciences.
- Exposure to digital transformation, automation, or platform modernization initiatives.
- Experience working across multiple geographies and cultures.
- Other: Languages: English proficiency is required .
- Travel: Minimal travel expected, up to 10% domestically or internationally.
- Certifications: IT service management, platform, or project management certifications are preferred.

- Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes.
