- The North America Center of Excellence (HCE) team supports headcount and cost related activities for all roles within our NA Operations across multiple logistics and fulfillment businesses. Our finance team partners with the business to support this rapidly expanding business while continuing to delight our customers. The team seeks a Finance Manager to join the NA Operations HCE to support one of our growing and expanding businesses. This role partners closely with a broad range of finance and operations leaders who share a common goal of delivering the Best in Class delivery experience. The role will be in direct support of both business and finance stakeholders in North America and other countries owning resource staffing models, reporting, headcount resource decisions, standardization, automation
- planning. This role will also design, develop
- maintains performance measurements to drive strategy on resource deployment to continuously improve the economics of the business. The successful candidate has demonstrated the following abilities: ability to influence business owners, support thoughtful decision-making, adapt to a rapidly-evolving environment, collaborate with executives and various business units across Amazon which requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. A typical day in this role provides an opportunity to innovate by building creative solutions with large-scale data mining tools, identifying the high-priority work, owning complex models and projects that maximize results for key stakeholders, by solving complex problems that impact business strategic decisions. Key job responsibilities - Identifies basic control risks, evaluates impact, proposes changes

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- CPA - 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience - 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis
- recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements
- customer benefits) experience - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) - Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting
