Authorization & Posting is a foundational capability that orchestrates the real-time and batch authorization, memo posting, and final posting of financial transactions across the enterprise. This product supports high-volume money movement and customer activity across digital, branch, ATM, and point-of-sale channels, enabling accurate, timely, and resilient processing at scale.
This role is central to driving the reliability , scalability , and modernization of core transaction processing systems that support billions of daily transactions and a wide ecosystem of upstream and downstream applications. The Authorization & Posting platform integrates across critical systems (e.g., Transaction Management Services (TMS) and related posting engines) to ensure transaction integrity , regulatory compliance , and seamless customer experiences.
Within this space, the product team plays a key role in enhancing processing efficiency, strengthening controls, and reducing operational risk across end-to-end transaction flows. This role is critical to advancing next-generation transaction processing capabilities .
The successful candidate will: Drive modernization of authorization and posting architecture , including real-time processing performance and resiliency improvements Enable AI-driven and rules-based decisioning to strengthen fraud detection, risk mitigation, and processing accuracy Reduce operational complexity through automation and platform simplification Accelerate delivery of scalable, high-throughput solutions that support Wells Fargo’s core banking ecosystem This role offers high visibility across mission-critical initiatives and plays a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, system resiliency, transaction integrity, and operational excellence within one of the bank’s highest-volume processing domains
In This Role, You Will
- Align cross-functional stakeholders and manage interdependencies to ensure seamless execution Analyze system performance, transaction flows
