Job Description Join the legal frontline and champion your expertise for the Law and Regulation area of responsibility for the Allstate Company! The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for combatting fraud against the insurance industry.

In this role, you will utilize your strong litigation and investigative background to help defend against fraudulent medical and other claims filed against The Company, and to bring Affirmative Actions, including RICO based litigation, on behalf of The Company.

You will apply your strong legal writing skills, and negotiate on a variety of complex matters for this role within the New York Metro area! Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Claims/Special Investigation Unit (SIU) to combat fraudulent claims in No-Fault and other cases.

Research, prepare, file, and litigate fraud cases, including RICO and other affirmative actions. Develop litigation strategies and negotiate complex matters. Review case files and plan resolutions. Draft discovery requests, motions, memorandums, and legal briefs.

Prepare for and conduct depositions and examinations under oath (EUOs). Attend arbitrations, mediations, trials, and work with expert witnesses. Represent the company in court appearances (conferences, hearings) in State and Federal courts.

Draft pre-trial and post-trial motions. Negotiate settlements and prepare related documentation. Education and Licensing Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar Federal Court Admission required upon selection for this role Experience 7 or more years of experience Federal Court experience Ability to manage complex litigation Strong research and writing skills Proficient with Microsoft Office and related computer applications Exercises discretion and maintains confidentiality Demonstrates ethics and integrity Insurance industry experience Knowledge of legal holds and discovery processes Travel Requirements This role is remote; however, in-person attendance is an essential function of the position.

The attorney will be required to travel within the New York Metro area for court appearances, hearings, trials and other legal matters, as well as periodic travel to the local Allstate office location.
