Offered Position: ASIC II Job Location: Austin, Texas Job Number: AMZ10244584 Position Responsibilities: Lead cross-platform test strategy development by performing advanced statistical analysis of ATE Test, SLT test, and System test data to drive yield optimization, test time reduction, and implement innovative screening methodologies that impact multiple product lines. Define and execute long-term test strategy roadmaps that align with business objectives and product KPIs. Architect and own enterprise-level automation frameworks that enable real-time yield comparison and performance monitoring across global OSATs, testers, and manufacturing setups. Design scalable solutions that can be deployed across multiple product families while maintaining cost-effectiveness and manufacturability at scale. Drive system-level test coverage optimization through advanced DOE methodologies and predictive characterization strategies that proactively identify potential yield limiters before silicon availability. Develop innovative testing approaches that balance coverage, cost, and time-to-market constraints. Own and resolve complex ASIC/product integration challenges that impact mass production readiness. Define solution paths, success criteria, and risk mitigation strategies for multi-faceted integration issues spanning hardware, test, and manufacturing domains. Design and maintain strategic dashboards and analytics platforms that provide executive-level visibility into key performance metrics, with predictive capabilities for proactive decision-making. Implement automated intelligence systems that enable rapid issue escalation and resolution across the organization. Conduct independent research and provide data-driven recommendations to executive management, architects, and design leads on test strategy, yield optimization, and manufacturing readiness. Demonstrate clear understanding of business impact and make informed trade-offs between technical performance, cost, schedule, and quality. Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning test engineering, system validation, DFT, and manufacturing teams to drive yield and quality improvements. Foster strategic partnerships that enable knowledge sharing and best practice implementation across the organization. Actively mentor and develop technical talent within the organization, sharing expertise in test methodologies, data analysis, and yield optimization. Recruit and guide team members in advanced problem-solving techniques and technical leadership skills. Take ownership of long-term test and yield roadmaps that anticipate future technology requirements and manufacturing challenges. Develop scalable solutions that can adapt to evolving product requirements and manufacturing constraints. Demonstrate deep-dive capability in ASIC/Hardware/Product integration with the ability to make critical trade-off decisions that balance real-world manufacturing constraints with product performance requirements. Drive integration strategies that ensure healthy mass production across multiple product lines. Position Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to a Master’s degree and one year of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skills: (1) Using scripting/programming languages (Python and SQL) for complex data analysis, statistical modeling, and enterprise-level automation system development
