The Contract Managers are expert practitioners in formulating strong legal positions both pre and post business award. They will work efficiently and independently, managing a high volume of tasks and projects with little guidance, react with appropriate urgency to matters which require a quick turnaround

Primary responsibilities of this role: - Operates with significant autonomy and discretion in communicating with Legal, the Business and Global Category Managers. - Influences at all levels of leadership, both internally and externally, to deliver results. - Serves as the principal subject matter expert in all Amazon standard contracts
- almost all external contracts. - Negotiates MSA, MHSA, MPA, PSA, Statements of Work, Work Orders, LOI, MOU, Term Sheets, used by the Global Corporate Procurement organization, including legal practice standards and fallback guidelines set by the Legal Department. - Acts as a subject matter expert for the organization in the application of the Amazon Spending and Transaction Policy and in Amazon’s contract approval processes. - Proactively monitors major contracts for renewals, SLAs, KPI attainment and other time-based or performance-based triggers that could impact the business. - Develops contract practice standards, operating procedures and systems that enable the broader team of Global Category Managers to scale and work more efficiently and effectively. - Orchestrates the end-to-end process from kickoff to full execution. Communicate these results through weekly metrics reporting. - Gaining executive stakeholder input on complex projects, framing issues simply and concisely to obtain buy-off to move forward with key decisions/initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent - 5+ years of relevant strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis experience - 7+ years of contracts management experience
