About The Role
The Marketplace New Business Development Manager, Alliances leads the Go-To-Market strategy for Target Plus Marketplace by developing and executing sales enablement programs that effectively communicate the Target Plus value proposition and drive conversion of prospective marketplace sellers.
This role owns the strategy and creation of pitch decks, seller collateral, sales training, and enablement resources that support the Partner Acquisition team. In addition, the role leads the marketplace seller incentive strategy, partnering closely with Acquisition, Business Operations & Services, Creative, and Partnership Teams to ensure consistent messaging and positioning across all seller-facing assets.
The role is also responsible for measuring enablement effectiveness, optimizing seller engagement, and continuously improving incentive programs to accelerate partner acquisition. About You: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in business development, marketing, go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, or marketplace/eCommerce.
Experience developing sales enablement programs, including sales collateral and training that drive business growth. Experience developing compelling value propositions and messaging for external audiences, with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Strong project and program management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive execution in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Strong relationship-building and communication skills, able to manage discussions with both internal teams and external partners.
Familiarity with digital marketplaces and an understanding of the DTC landscape preferred. This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
