Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce. We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive the vision and roadmap for MuleSoft's Omni Gateway - our unified gateway offering for the API and agentic AI era.
In this role, you'll own the strategy that positions Omni Gateway at the intersection of traditional API management and the emerging world of agentic AI protocols. You'll define where the product goes, why it matters, and how it delivers value to enterprises navigating the convergence of APIs, events, and AI agents.
This is a hands-on product role. You won't just write PRDs. You will prototype, build proofs of concept, lead deep-dive demonstrations across the entire platform portfolio, and dig into exploratory initiatives yourself. If you're energized by both shaping long-term strategy and getting into the weeds with the technology, this role is for you.
What You'll Do Own and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for MuleSoft's Omni Gateway offering, aligning it with broader platform direction and market needs. Translate enterprise business needs into clear technical requirements and compelling product solutions.
Build prototypes, run POCs, and lead exploratory initiatives to validate ideas and de-risk roadmap bets before committing engineering investment. Lead deep-dive demonstrations of the gateway and the broader platform portfolio for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Engage directly with customers - holding substantive conversations with both technical practitioners and business decision-makers to understand pain points, gather feedback, and shape the product accordingly. Partner cross-functionally with engineering, pre-sales, marketing, customer success, and program management to bring the roadmap to life and ensure cohesive go-to-market execution.
Stay ahead of the API management and agentic AI landscape, monitoring competitive moves and emerging standards to keep Omni Gateway at the forefront. Leverage AI-assisted tools like Claude Code or Codex to rapidly prototype, build POCs, and produce demo assets—using AI tooling as a force multiplier to move from idea to working artifact faster.
What We're Looking For 5+ years in product management, ideally with API management, integration platforms, or developer-facing infrastructure products. Strong command of API management and gateway concepts such as policy enforcement, traffic management, security, observability, and federation.
Deep familiarity with common enterprise API and integration use cases and patterns, including REST, asynchronous/event-driven, GraphQL, and gRPC. Working knowledge of agentic AI protocols such as MCP (Model Context Protocol) and A2A (Agent-to-Agent), and a point of view on how they reshape integration architecture.
Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, and to communicate fluently with both technical and business audiences. A genuine builder's instinct - comfortable prototyping, running POCs, and getting hands-on with the technology rather than staying purely strategic.
Proven track record collaborating across engineering, pre-sales, marketing, customer success, and program management. Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with a passion for engaging customers in meaningful technical and business conversations.
Proficiency with AI-assisted development and productivity tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar agentic coding assistants to accelerate prototyping, generate POCs, and explore technical concepts quickly. We expect our PMs to leverage AI tooling as a force multiplier in their hands-on work.
A related technical degree required. Nice to Have Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Omni Gateway, or comparable gateway technologies (Kong, Apigee, Gravitee). Background in Event-driven architecture, enterprise application integration or AI/ML platform strategy.
Hands-on experience with API specification formats (OpenAPI, AsyncAPI) and gateway policy development. In office expectations are 36 days/a quarter to support customers and/or collaborate with their teams. Unleash Your Potential When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life.
Our benefits and resources support you to find balance and be your best , and our AI agents accelerate your impact so you can do your best . Together, we’ll bring the power of Agentforce to organizations of all sizes and deliver amazing experiences that customers love.
