- As an Account Manager – Sales Excellence for Electrified Motion, you will serve as the primary commercial partner for a portfolio of global OEM and Tier 1 customers, delivering a high-touch, white-glove customer experience while driving profitable business growth. Acting as the voice of the customer within the organization, you will build strong relationships, lead commercial strategy
- ensure seamless execution across the entire product lifecycle. The ideal candidate is a proactive relationship builder with strong business acumen, negotiation skills
- the ability to navigate complex customer organizations while balancing customer satisfaction and company objectives. Domestic and international travel will be required to support customer engagement, program execution
- business development activities. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of OEM and Tier 1 customer accounts, serving as the primary commercial contact throughout the product lifecycle. Develop and execute pricing strategies, customer negotiations
- commercial recovery initiatives to maximize profitability and support business objectives. Coordinate cross-functionally with Engineering, Project Management, Product Management, Manufacturing
- Finance teams to ensure successful execution of product launches, engineering changes
- customer-driven requirements. Lead commercial activities related to new business acquisitions, supporting customer quotations, contract negotiations
- program award execution. Oversee sample management activities throughout all development phases, including B-sample builds and subsequent prototype stages, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with customer expectations. Monitor and manage program financial performance, including P&L accountability, revenue forecasting, volume risk assessment
- margin optimization. Administer customer-specific commercial requirements, including Raw Material Index (RMI) mechanisms, tooling agreements, surcharge recovery
- contract compliance. Manage tooling commercialization activities, including customer tooling quotations, approvals, tracking, tagging
- reimbursement recovery. Ensure timely setup and maintenance of commercial structures within SAP, including purchase orders, pricing agreements
- funding allocations to support ongoing program execution. Execute and maintain compliance with local commercial policies, customer requirements
- internal governance standards. Drive continuous identification of incremental revenue opportunities, change requests
- commercial enhancements to improve program profitability. Support launch execution activities from acquisition through production start-up, ensuring all commercial deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule. Maintain proactive communication with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, mitigate risks
- ensure customer satisfaction. Travel will be required domestically and internationally
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing
- engineering 5 years of experience in sales / account management within the automotive industry Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint
- Power BI for data analysis and reporting Prefer red Qualifications Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain customer and cross-functional relationships Self-motivated, confident
