A Day in the Life The Acute Care & Monitoring (ACM) OU is committed to excellence in innovation and commercialization to pursue our vision and long-term business growth. The ACM OU R&D organization is refining its product delivery, innovation, and commercialization approach to enable product leadership across all segments of our product portfolio.

This will require enhancing our innovation processes as well as refining our design and delivery approaches to deliver an integrated and comprehensive portfolio that enables product development excellence across ACM. The Senior Project Manager plays a pivotal role in directing cross-functional teams to bring advanced Physiological Sensing products to market .

Within ACM, the Physiological Sens ing portfolio encompasses industry-leading product lines, such as Nellcor TM , BIS TM , and INVOS TM . These offerings feature electromechanical patient sensors and sophisticated software algorithms designed to detect and continuously monitor patient parameters, thus providing clinicians with actionable information and insights .

This role leads project management for the development and advancement of new physiological sens ing solutions within this portfolio. The position prioritizes effective collaboration, nurtures an inclusive culture, and focuses on continuous process improvement to foster innovation while achieving business objectives .

This role is based out of Lafayette, CO Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Leads or leverages cross-functional teams to evaluate, develop, and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes, and therapies.

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Manages the development and implementation process of a company's products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes.

Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives .

Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. Gathers requirements, works on requirements planning, requirements elicitation and requirements management to ensure they meet demands of project's key stakeholders.

Communicates with stakeholders, obtains stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems. Technical Specialist Career Stream: An individual contributor with responsibility in technical functions to advance existing technology or introduce new technology and therapies.

Formulates, delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering R&D, systems or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies – from design to implementation - while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

  • Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 4 years of experience leading complex projects OR Master’s degree with a minimum of 2 years experience OR PhD with 0 years experience Nice to Have Knowledge and Experience: Pr evious experience leading new product development p rojects that require navigating technical, regulatory

  • Experience launching products in the medical device industry or other heavily regulated industr ies .
