Introduction to role: Are you ready to turn digital strategy into measurable results across a complex regional supply network? In this role, you will convert vision into delivery, shaping the solutions that help our medicines reach patients faster and more reliably.

You will work at the heart of our regional digital transformation, collaborating with leaders and teams across the UK (Macclesfield), France (Dunkerque) and Egypt (Cairo). Partnering closely with IT and business stakeholders, you will identify high-value opportunities, deliver PoCs and pilots, and scale proven solutions that create competitive advantage.

How will you move from a promising idea to a scaled outcome that improves flow, quality and cost? Accountabilities: Opportunity Shaping: Partner with local stakeholders and IT to ensure business opportunities are fully understood and customer requirements clearly mapped into actionable use cases.

Value Case and Benefits: Evaluate and document the business benefits of proposed solutions, and drive benefits management and realisation through to measurable outcomes. Fit-for-Purpose Technology: Safeguard the relevance of proposed technologies to the problem, ensuring standardised platforms and processes are selected and adopted.

Delivery Excellence: Ensure On Time, In Full delivery of digital projects, coordinating process and people to land change effectively and sustainably. Governance and Risk Management: Oversee and proactively manage project actions, risks and reporting; influence priorities and resource commitments across sites.

Strategy Alignment: Support product and functional teams in their digitalisation strategies, aligning initiatives to regional plans and long-term goals. Scale and Knowledge Transfer: Lead PoCs and pilots to successful scale-up; promote learning and knowledge transfer across sites and maintain oversight of local and global digitalisation initiatives.

Regional Representation and Inclusion: Represent users across the UK, Dunkerque and Cairo sites with strong inclusion and cultural sensitivity, ensuring solutions work in each context while remaining scalable. Essential Skills/Experience: Proven experience of successfully deploying a variety of business analysis tools/techniques to enable business change Strong engagement, communication and stakeholder management skills, including excellent presentation and influencing skills Experience of virtual collaboration to lead, shape and develop innovative solutions Practical usage of Agile Methodology Cross industry business awareness/business domain knowledge Broad understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes Expert in Lean methodologies including process mapping, problem solving and continuous improvement Project Management Skills Challenge, negotiation and influence Stakeholder Management both internal and external Benefits Management and Realisation Competent with Lean methodology GMP knowledge Manufacturing knowledge Presentation, Communication & Facilitation Customer Focus Networking Compliance Business Process Management Desirable Skills/Experience: Experience leading large/complex change projects in matrixed environments Experience of working in a regulated environment Degree in relevant discipline or formal certification in Project or Change Management Experience of working in a global organisation with complex/geographical context User Centred Design (User Experience, User Interface Design and Business Process Design) Why AstraZeneca: Join a team that turns cutting-edge ideas into real-world impact for patients.
