- AlixPartners is seeking an experienced EMEA Temporary Service Providers (TSPs) Manager, as a Senior Vice President. This role sits within the People team in the Strategic Resource Management team. to join its Global People team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a results-driven professional with deep expertise in third-party service provider management, employment law compliance and commercial acumen to lead our TSP operations across the EMEA region.
- Reporting to the Head of the TSP office based in the US you will be responsible for managing all aspects of third-party service provider (TSP) operations, including contractor onboarding, contract management, compliance, vendor relations and cost optimisation. You will work closely with our Client-facing Business leaders, Legal, Procurement, Strategic Finance and Analysis, Compliance, Data Privacy
- operational teams across EMEA. You will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, pragmatic problem-solving capabilities, strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance compliance requirements with business needs whilst managing complex, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- Day-to-day TSP management
- Respond to and process TSP requests from the business, liaising with business teams on discrepancies and missing information, and challenging business answers where appropriate to ensure compliance and quality standards.
- Send TSP questionnaires, review responses for anomalies and completeness
- liaise with Compliance on risk flags (e.g., use of subcontractors, litigation history). Coordinate with Data Privacy teams where personal data processing is involved.
- Provide preliminary legal and commercial advice on deemed employment risk across multiple locations; escalate complex matters to internal Legal counsel as required.
- Identify and route contracts to Procurement where appropriate (e.g., vendor agreements, large companies, contractor-paper terms).
- Obtain necessary approvals on all TSP engagements in line with delegated authorities.
- Manage the background checks co-ordinating with the applicable Country People Operations team, as required, escalating and solving any flags.
- Draft Non-Disclosure Agreements and contracts from templates for new TSPs; conduct simple legal and commercial negotiations of TSP agreements.
- Arrange contract execution and maintain secure, organised records of all signed agreements on our contract management system (Ironclad).
- Set up TSPs on Oracle for time recording and administrative purposes as required.
- Ensure all TSPs receive a complete onboarding pack, including compliance policies, procedures, time recording and invoicing guidance.
- Draft contract amendments, extensions and Statements of Work for existing MSAs and Independent Contractors.
- Track bill rates, pay rates, cost markups and approvals; manage non-standard markup approvals and Oracle entries.
- Resolve invoicing and expense queries, respond to core training enquiries, and manage payment processing.
- Liaise with IT on systems, equipment and access requirements for TSPs.
- Manage relationships with external staffing partners (e.g., Danbro) and all independent contractors.
- Track start and expiry dates for Senior Advisors; schedule renewal discussions, record contract terms and maintain signed agreements.
- Coordinate and share firm-wide Chapter 11 bankruptcy lists on a monthly basis.
- Strategic initiatives and ongoing projects
- Lead firm-wide initiatives to optimise our external workforce strategy.
- Drive implementation of firm-wide measures to mitigate compliance and operational risk associated with TSP usage.
- Systematise and standardise decision-making on TSP risk levels based on factors such as prior working history, nature of tasks, engagement terms and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop an automated risk assessment tool where possible.

- Professional background in legal, paralegal or procurement functions, ideally within professional services.
- Ability to quickly understand and assimilate legal language and documentation.
- Capability to make straightforward legal and commercial amendments to contracts and identify knock-on effects across related clauses.
- Deep knowledge of EMEA employment law across multiple jurisdictions; demonstrable expertise in contractor classification and compliance.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills with vendors and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in another European language, German is preferred.
