The Supply Chain Operations (SCO) Digital Marketing Specialist within McKesson’s US Pharmaceutical Distribution (USPD) organization will be responsible for executing digital content strategy and marketing initiatives for SCO in support of the value narrative.
This role will expand and maintain clear, consistent messaging across internal and external channels. This role focuses on digital channel execution, content publishing and optimization that supports SCO priorities. You will partner closely with supply chain, product management and enterprise marketing teams to translate initiatives into compelling content.
Location: This role requires candidates to live within a drivable distance of the Ft. Worth, TX location
Compensation
- The target salary for this role is between $85,000 and $90,000 with a 5% yearly bonus.
- Key Responsibilities Execute and optimize SCO’s digital marketing initiatives, campaigns and strategies: Manage and publish digital content across McKesson enterprise channels, leveraging content developed in collaboration with marketing lead and business teams Leverage key channels (website, company intranet, SharePoint, email, etc.) to deliver a compelling story to targeted audiences and stakeholders Develop and refine digital content to align with SCO’s value proposition, brand voice, writing style and channel standards Optimize digital marketing content and platforms for consistency, accessibility, quality and overall user experience Partner with digital enablement teams to track analytics and improve content performance and engagement over time Regularly review and edit/update content across channels for accuracy, clarity and alignment Work collaboratively to develop and deliver high-impact content and collateral that is visually appealing and consistent with McKesson brand guidelines to be used across various channels: Develop and publish messages and tools including digital/web content, landing pages, microsites, business detail pages within the broader McKesson website Evaluate organization imperatives and priorities to determine optimal channels, placement and deliverables to reach target audiences and drive the SCO value narrative and marketing strategy Build and maintain relationships with sales, marketing, A/V production, design and other internal partners to facilitate optimal channel strategy, messaging and related visuals Collaborate with external agencies, vendors and free-lancers as needed Drive digital enablement, modernization and content distribution improvements across SCO marketing and communications: Source, implement and manage scalable approaches to distribute content across many stakeholder groups/audiences Maintain a working knowledge of digital marketing/communication best practices and support teams in selecting the right channels and formats to reach target audiences effectively Collaborate cross-functionally to maximize reach and visibility of key initiatives through digital platforms Research and drive improvements in digital tools, channel performance and content distribution processes, seeking out opportunities to incorporate AI or other solutions Contribute to various SCO marketing events, initiatives and programs: Contribute to campaign and event planning, timelines and execution including building engagement activities, developing landing pages/microsites and sharing updates with partners Help manage content deliverables across multiple stakeholders and deadlines Support analyzing feedback and analytics to drive continuous improvement within events and campaigns Support the broader SCO Marketing and Communications team as needed for ad hoc initiatives, content development or special projects Act as a reliable resource for enterprise partners and maintain a working knowledge of SCO teams and processes Be active in the marketing community to keep up to date with the latest developments in marketing strategies Be curious and ask questions about projects and initiatives to enable your ability to support the team dynamically Minimum Requirement Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Education Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, content strategy or related field
- equivalent experience Critical Skills 4+ years experience in marketing, communications, content strategy or digital marketing Clear, concise writing with strong editing discipline (preferably comfortable with AP style) Experience creating content for digital channels and campaigns Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines at once Additional Knowledge & Skills Highly organized self-starter that works well under limited direction Experience working with digital content platforms, content management systems, email marketing tools and/or photo/video editing software Familiarity with healthcare, distribution or pharmacy environments Experience with go-to-market programs or product launches Working Conditions The position offers a hybrid work schedule with mandatory onsite meetings.
