Director, Markets Shared Services Reporting & Fees Technology and Bengaluru Lead PURPOSE Lead the engineering and delivery of the platforms, people and services covering Markets Shared Services Regulatory Reporting and Fees platform. Provide local leadership for all Markets Shared Services roles based in Bengaluru.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Leads the development and execution of strategy for Group Fees and Regulatory Reporting services utilised by the two clearing houses within Markets. This will include working with the Regulatory Reporting Services (formerly UnaVista) to identify and align on common solutions across the estate.

Provide local leadership for all Shared Services team members in Bengaluru, acting as site lead and ensuring Shared Services is integrated into and represented in all local site leadership forums. Ensures the organisation is properly resourced with a focus on high quality engineering talent, and creating a positive environment and team dynamic Plans appropriately for growth, and all the delivery teams have been trained in appropriate methodologies and understand their role in the organisation.

Champions and delivers an agile delivery methodology and a continuous improvement framework to drive efficiency and enable business agility. Innovates in partnership with product management function and senior technology roles to deliver revenue growth whilst maintaining the highest standards of resilience.

Drives cost reduction of delivery and maintenance through technology and process innovation. Implements a governance framework for technology delivery to ensure appropriate reporting and remedial actions are being undertaken to keep delivery backlogs on track and within budget.

Maintains relationships with key suppliers, setting performance standards and leading the resolution of important priority service issues. Develops high performing and diverse teams, with established talent pipelines and clear succession plans.

SKILLS AND PROFICIENCY SKILL DEFINITION PROFICIENCY Communicates with clarity and precision, presenting complex / technical information in a concise format that is audience appropriate. Understands different approaches to project management (e.g.

Agile, Waterfall etc.) and ensures flexibility to deliver and execute within different ways of working. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards, legal requirements and principles, developing and applying knowledge and minimising legal and regulatory risks across the business.

Directs and leads others, coordinating activities and providing encouragement and inspiration to help others succeed. Adapts to constantly evolving events and environments while accurately judging priorities and keeping track of details. Engages in discussion to reach an agreement and create outcomes, affecting the action, behaviours, or opinions of others.

Cultivates and maintains external partnerships & alliances to ensure alignment with business strategy and regulatory requirements for long term value and growth. Seeks new ways of working continuously to make processes run smoother and faster.

Uses project management methodologies to handle project resources and activities. Demonstrates the discipline of planning, organizing and leading resources and activities to achieve specified outcomes within a clearly defined timeframe and standards.

Manages and records the risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies on a product backlog and executes appropriate change control standards and governance. Interacts with others to exchange information and develop professional or social contacts and reduce siloed working.

Builds trusting relationships with internal and external interested parties to understand their drivers and negotiate positive outcomes. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Previous experience in a technology focused product / project delivery role Previous experience of Software Engineering, Business and Technical Analysis, Quality Assurance, and / or Emerging Technology and Governance.
