First Line Manufacturing Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a First Line Manufacturing Manager to support the Air Dominance Operations team for Advanced Composite Fabrication Center (ACFC) in Mesa, AZ!

This position will require strong teamwork and communication skills to effectively work with the build team to support various proprietary programs. Ideal candidates will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Position Responsibilities: Leads a multi-functional team of mechanics responsible for fabrication of various products and processes Manage employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines, in multiple facilities/locations Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, processes and products.

Leads, develops and motivates employees Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners Promote employee engagement and build an organizational culture that fosters safety and quality performance, improves employee satisfaction and retains and develops a skilled and motivated workforce Forecasts resource needs, obtains and manages personnel, facilities, equipment, training and tools to meet operating requirements To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.” 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly processes and procedures 3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives 3+ years manufacturing experience driving improvements across safety, quality, delivery, cost, innovation and people on production and development programs Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Active U.S.

Secret Security Clearance 5+ years of experience in Composite Fabrication Experience directly supporting a proprietary program Knowledge working with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and practices Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies .

Summary pay range: $111,350 – $150,650 Language Requirements: Not Applicable Education: Not Applicable Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Export Control Requirement: This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements.

Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
