We are searching for the Best talent for IMUAM Deployment Manager The IM UAM Deployment Manager provides leadership and delivery accountability for UAM deployment activities within the J&J Innovative Medicine (IM) UAM team.
This role is responsible for managing individual Transcend S/4HANA releases and other UAM projects from PI execution through testing, cutover preparation and execution, go-live, hypercare, and transition to steady state. The role combines people leadership, stakeholder management, project governance, issue resolution, and functional expertise in authorization design, Segregation of Duties (SoD), access governance, and compliance within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
You will be responsible for Manage UAM deployment delivery for individual Transcend SAP S/4HANA releases in a regulated pharmaceutical environment, ensuring execution of the global UAM deployment strategy in line with deployment milestones, quality expectations, and program governance requirements.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 3-5 Security Analysts, setting priorities, providing guidance, supporting performance and development discussions, and aligning team activities with J&J and UAM talent development expectations.
Own UAM deployment readiness across all deployment phases , ensuring persona design, testing, cutover/provisioning, and hypercare activities are planned, resourced, monitored, and completed in line with release milestones and entry/exit criteria.
Drive planning, prioritization, and execution control across UAM deployment activities, including progress tracking, dependency management, risk and issue escalation, and integration with broader program plans. Oversee role design quality and compliance health checks before build, before cutover, and after go-live to confirm alignment with authorization principles, SoD controls, and applicable compliance expectations.
Manage cutover planning for access deployment activities , including role transport sequencing, user provisioning readiness, emergency access planning, business validation steps, issue escalation, and stakeholder alignment. Manage hypercare support and transition to steady state , ensuring access issues are prioritized, root causes are understood, remediation actions are tracked, and ownership is clearly handed over to operational teams.
Provide oversight of SoD risks, sensitive access, and mitigation actions during deployment, ensuring risks are visible, appropriately escalated, and managed to support compliant access enablement in regulated environments. Establish, monitor, and communicate UAM deployment KPIs and management reporting , including defect volumes, role readiness, cutover completion, provisioning accuracy, open risks, and hypercare stabilization trends.
Drive continuous improvement of the UAM deployment framework by applying lessons learned from releases to strengthen methodology, controls, templates, deployment efficiency, taxonomy, governance, and the operating model. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor’s degree or university-level qualification in a relevant field, such as Finance, Supply Chain, IT, or Engineering.
Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience in international companies, including at least 5 years of people management or team leadership experience. Expertise in business role design and SAP security concepts. Demonstrable experience managing ERP deployment programs and project delivery in sophisticated, multi-functional environments.
Solid understanding of sophisticated system landscapes and global template design. Good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA authorization concepts and familiarity with compliance requirements such as SOX, GxP, IT, and Privacy. Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
Specialist knowledge of SAP GRC Access Control, Process Control, and identity management tools. Good understanding of SoD, mitigation, and remediation concepts. Good knowledge of risk matrix and rule set maintenance. Specialist knowledge of data analysis, data conversion, and migration.
Solid project management, planning, prioritization, and execution leadership skills. Ability to lead and empower teams in a virtual or remote working environment. Strong collaborator management, communication, collaboration, presentation, and conflict resolution skills.
Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Excellent oral and written English skills. Experience influencing and collaborating across large business, IT, security, and compliance organizations. Collaborative, value-based, and outcome-oriented leadership style with the ability to manage teams, develop talent, and drive accountability.
Experience establishing or operating UAM governance frameworks, including standards, policies, decision forums, and performance metrics to supervise progress and accountability. Experience managing compliance requirements, change impacts, and stakeholder expectations during technology or process transformation programs.
