Job Title: Senior Specialist - Coms and Change Management GCL: D3 Introduction to role: Are you ready to steer complex change and bring clarity to transformation that directly strengthens global patient safety? Based in India, you will work across regional centers, markets, and international functions. You will drive adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working that enable reliable, high-qualiIn this role, you will link strategy and execution—aligning leaders, engaging collaborators, and ensuring that change is planned, understood, and embedded to deliver balanced outcomes for patients and the business.

Joining our fast-evolving enterprise, you will work with executive leaders and cross-functional teams. You will translate transformation priorities into measurable impact by accelerating readiness, reducing disruption, and elevating service delivery across the Patient Safety ecosystem.

Accountabilities: Change Strategy and Planning: Develop and maintain integrated change strategies and plans for process, system, organizational, and service changes, co-created with service leads and change owners to enable timely, coordinated execution.

Impact Assessment and Readiness: Partner with Patient Safety service teams, process leads, training and digital/system teams to assess proposed changes, perform comprehensive change impact assessments, and shape mitigation and readiness actions across global teams.

Change Execution and Adoption: Drive execution of change plans with clear ownership, achievements, and follow-through. Track risks and dependencies. Raise blockers and report progress to maintain alignment with service priorities. Collaborator Engagement: Build collaborator maps and engagement approaches that align leadership, arm managers with the right messages, and secure agreement across hubs, markets, and global teams.

Strategic and Operational Communications: Create and deliver clear, timely communications that translate complex changes into compelling stories and practical guidance for diverse internal audiences. Content and Channel Management: Produce executive messaging, newsletters, intranet content, presentations, and engagement materials; maintain and continuously improve channels such as SharePoint and collaboration spaces to keep information current, accessible, and engaging.

Leadership Partnering and Alignment: Work closely with senior leaders to build communication plans for central initiatives and organizational changes, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment across markets. Issues and Crisis Communications: Prepare messaging, Q&A documents, and collaborator communication plans to support issues response and minimize operational impact.

Measurement and Continuous Improvement: Use feedback and analytics to improve reach, clarity, and collaborator participation; refine approaches to improve adoption and business value over time. Essential Skills/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.

Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industry. 7 to 9 years of experience assessing and managing impact of change for teams operating with complex processes and systems. Proven ability to manage multiple projects/tasks effectively; being adaptable and flexible to changing demands.

Extensive experience of creating and issuing technical, service and process communications to internal customer groups. Strong storytelling and content development capabilities. Strong communication skills in Business English, both in writing and speaking.

Experience of supporting significant business change across different national and business boundaries. Strong ethical, interpersonal and collaborative and influencing skills. Assertive and confident interacting with individuals at all levels of the organisation including senior leaders.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external collaborators across different regions. Ability to work in a team environment / works collaboratively. Desirable Skills/Experience: Master’s degree or professional certification in Communications.

PROSCI trained (or other recognized change management qualification). Experience maintaining websites / SharePoint. Experience creating video and animation content. Certification in Mass Communications. Experience working in a global or matrix organization.
