About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer
In This Role, You Will
- Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines Design, code, test, debug
- document for projects and programs Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment

- serve as a peer mentor Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
- equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Approximately 5 + years of Software Engineering experience

- education. 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience .
- Strong experience with ServiceNow ITSM and at least one additional module such as ITOM, ITAM, CMDB.
- Experience developing ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, IntegrationHub, and APIs.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, Flow Designer, UI Policies, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Catalog Development.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and enterprise-scale software development practices.
- Proven experience leading complex projects and mentoring engineering teams.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification in ITSM, Experience implementing AI-powered solutions including Predictive Intelligence, GenAI, and Agentic AI capabilities.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and IntegrationHub.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, source control, and automated testing frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in regulated enterprise environments with a strong focus on risk, compliance, and security.
- Job Expectations: Lead ServiceNow design and delivery efforts across multiple strategic initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to engineering teams.
- Drive platform modernization, automation, and AI adoption initiatives.
- Partner effectively with business, product, architecture, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.
- Ensure high platform availability, performance, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Mentor and develop engineers while fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Stay current with emerging ServiceNow capabilities, industry trends, and engineering best practices.
- Participate in on-call support, critical incident resolution, and production stability activities as needed.
