Senior Quality Engineering & Program Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality Engineering and Program Manager to join our dynamic team in New Orleans, LA for the Space Launch System program.

Position Responsibilities: Serves as a member of both the SLS program leadership team and Space, Intelligence and Weapon Systems Total Quality leadership team Responsible for all aspects of Quality on the SLS program from design through launch Manages employees and mid-level managers performing quality engineering and quality assurance on the SLS program through all phases of the product lifecycle Develops quality strategies and plans in support of new business acquisition and execution of SLS program/business plans Provides education and coaching on the Quality System Acquires and manages resources, provides quality technical management and leads performance improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports Oversees review of technical information to ensure quality and producibility Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers within an inclusive and collaborative environment Ability to understand the big picture and inter-relationships of functions Ability to effectively communicate current state performance to plans for executive consumption This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF) in New Orleans, LA. This position requires the ability to obtain a clearance for access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s degree or higher 3+ years of experience implementing and/or maintaining a quality management system Experience working in a cross functional environment Experience with Communication, both written and verbal, with a comfort in public speaking and frequent interactions with executive-level management.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Prior Quality Management Experience Direct experience performing in quality engineering, manufacturing operations, project management, system engineering, or change management Solid working knowledge of Quality Tools (APQP, Early Quality Involvement, RCCA) Surveillance and Compliance Audits Experience building internal and external customer relationships Travel: Position may require travel up to 10-15% of the time.

Summary pay range: $183,600-$248,400 Language Requirements: Not Applicable Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Export Control Requirement: This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements.

Safety Sensitive: This is a NASA safety-sensitive position and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
