Work Flexibility: Remote Stryker is seeking to hire a Design Engineer to support Stryker Craniomaxillofacial (CMF) Division. This role has a direct impact on healthcare by designing customized patient implants. This is a remote role supporting the West Coas t. Preference will be given to candidates located in the Pacific Time Zone
What You Will Do
- As a Design Engineer, you will be working on our Patient Specific Solutions team.
- This team provides surgeons with the options they need to successfully treat very complex cases.
- You will work to design and develop patient specific implants, where a patient may not have other options.
- You will also be responsible for: Using CAD software to design these custom patient implants.
- Working collaboratively and communicating effectively with cross-functional teams including regulatory, quality, engineer standards, manufacturing, and sterility.
- Understanding the anatomy of the body through courses to help you learn.
Required
Bachelor’s degree in scientific discipline. Biomedical or Mechanical preferred. 0-2 years of product design experience. Experience in CAD
Preferred
- Knowledge of design controls and risk management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
