Position Summary The Senior Manager - Scrum Master carries out and facilitates Scrum events, removing impediments, promoting collaboration, supporting the Product Owner, and driving continuous improvement.

Ensures the effective implementation of the Scrum framework, creating a conducive environment for the team's success, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach multiple Agile Scrum teams to successfully deliver business-critical initiatives, production releases, and strategic program objectives while promoting Agile, SAFe, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Partner with Product Owners, stakeholders, architects, and technical leaders to drive sprint and PI planning, establish delivery priorities, manage team capacity, and align roadmaps with business goals.
  • Manage and optimize product backlogs, ensuring well-defined user stories, clear acceptance criteria, prioritization, and adherence to Definition of Ready and Definition of Done standards.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, QA, Architecture, Operations, Release Management, and vendor teams to coordinate dependencies, resolve issues, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Proactively identify, manage

  • delivery impediments while providing transparent communication, status reporting, forecasting
  • executive-level updates on program health and release readiness.
  • Coordinate release planning, deployment activities, production support
  • post-release stabilization efforts while driving team effectiveness through retrospectives, process improvements, mentoring
  • organizational best practices.
  • Required Qualifications 7+ years of work experience as a project manager or senior scrum master 7+ years of experience delivering enterprise-wide digital transformation and complex technologies implementations Experience with the following methodologies: Agile Scrum, SAFe, PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives Experience with the following tools: Rally (Agile Central), Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Azure DevOps/GitHub workflows Preferred Qualifications Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Master's Degree in Computer Science Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience) Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $130,295.00 - $260,590.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
  • The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
  • This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
  • This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
