We're scaling our Sales Development team with customer-focused SDRs who will take ownership of our outbound sales engine and help to build pipeline as we move up market, and distinguish Vanta as best-in-class to prospects in a burgeoning competitive landscape.

If this sounds like you, and you're excited to join a growing team, we'd love to hear from you. What you’ll do as a Sales Development Representative at Vanta: Become an expert in Vanta's value proposition and product to confidently engage with prospective customers across inbound channels.

Own Vanta's live chat experience across APJ by responding to prospective customers, qualifying opportunities, and delivering a high-quality first interaction with our brand. Partner closely with Marketing to continuously improve live chat performance, conversion rates, and the overall visitor experience through testing and experimentation.

Support expansion into new markets by testing inbound engagement strategies, refining qualification approaches, and providing feedback that informs go-to-market decisions. Identify high-potential opportunities, qualify customer needs, and route prospects to the appropriate sales team members.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, insights, and outcomes in Salesforce and other sales tools. Share customer feedback and market insights with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to help improve messaging, campaigns, and customer experience.

How to be successful in this role: Excited to start a career in SaaS sales and eager to learn in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. A naturally curious communicator who enjoys engaging with people and building relationships. Customer-focused, with the ability to understand customer needs and create a positive first impression for every prospect.

Coachable and open to feedback, with a growth mindset and a desire to continuously improve. Organised and able to manage multiple conversations and priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail. Comfortable working collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams.

Interested in using data, experimentation, and AI to improve how you work and deliver better outcomes. Proactive and self-motivated, taking ownership of your work and looking for opportunities to contribute beyond your day-to-day responsibilities.

Previous customer-facing experience (such as retail, hospitality, customer service, or internships) is a plus, but not required. Able to work in a hybrid environment, coming into the office three days per week. Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.
