- overall business operations for this service. Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and innovative Software Development Manager to lead and be part of our Amazon Leo Commerce team in India. This role will be instrumental in establishing and growing our presence in the region

- Work with our peer teams and customers to design suitable software systems and interfaces.
- Develop a strategic plan for the growth of the team, both from a software services and organization perspective.
- Hire & Develop a diverse team of software engineers.
- Aid in the design of mission critical systems in Amazon Leo.
- Collaborate with your fellow team members to form a strong foundation for a software organization in Amazon Leo

Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Amazon Leo will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity. About the team Amazon Leo Commerce team owns developing the architecture, solutions & roadmap for managing the customer lifecycle for telecom services
- for example, identity and account management, subscriber management services, user provisioning, billing and payments, customer and technical support tools, offer management tools, and customer metrics and analytics.
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience - 7+ years of engineering experience - 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience - Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification
- livesite operations - Experience partnering with product or program management teams - Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams
- senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs
- product strategy - Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills
