As the Business Administrator to the Vice President of the Direct Customer Value (DCV) organization, you’ll drive operational excellence while working closely with leadership in a fast-paced. Direct Customer Value (DCV) is part of the Microsoft Security Customer Value Creation (CVC) organization.

This position calls for organization, and an innovative mindset as you partner across the company to support business priorities and empower your team. You will play a pivotal role in helping the VP and the organization run efficiently, providing insight and solutions where it matters most.

Join us to do meaningful work and help shape what’s next. Responsibilities Provide calendar management, time planning, and meeting logistics support for manager(s), including room booking, meeting preparation, calendar alignment, and troubleshooting audio-video (AV) and technical issues.

Assist in Rhythm of the Business planning and scheduling, including business cadence, key stakeholder coordination, and meeting logistics. Manage expenses, purchasing, equipment, services, supplies, purchase orders, invoices, vendor and supplier setup, discretionary budget tracking, and related financial processes in alignment with Microsoft policies and business requirements.

Support headcount coordination, recruitment logistics, onboarding, offboarding, staff movement/transfers, reporting, and related transactions within headcount management tools. Provide onboarding support for new employees, vendors, and interns, including equipment ordering, workstation setup, distribution lists, security groups, and answering questions.

Own and manage distribution groups, security groups, and related access/support needs. Plan, coordinate, promote, and support offsites, morale events, town halls, group meetings, and other team events, including logistics, itineraries, communications, and issue escalation.

Develop relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple organizations, including business support professionals, HR, Finance, event planners, peers, external partners, and customers. Manage space planning and allocation, including office and desk assignments, conference room calendars, office setup and cleanout, and large organizational moves.

Execute projects and tasks with accountability, identify risks and challenges, communicate status and tradeoffs to stakeholders, streamline processes, and recommend improvements. Provide travel support, including accommodations, transportation, security considerations, itineraries, international travel documentation, and policy guidance.

Actively participate in the Business Support community, take direction from lead admins, and mentor or support less experienced colleagues. Embody Microsoft culture and values . Qualifications Required Qualifications: 5+ years administrative, business support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and administration work for executive/upper level management.

Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources [HR], Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology) OR equivalent experience. 2+ years experience serving as mentor to others. 3+ years experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (e.g., for events, morale, travel, training). 2+ years of experience with Microsoft products, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • Windows. #MSFTSecurity Business Support ATR-D - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $31.49 - $51.97 per hour.
  • There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area
  • the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $42.93 - $59.33 per hour.
