- We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our Hägglunds division, based at our Regency Park, SA branch. This is a hands-on role responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining and servicing Hägglunds hydraulic drive systems across a diverse range of customer sites. Working both independently and as part of a collaborative team, you will deliver high-quality technical solutions that minimise downtime, maximise equipment performance
- provide exceptional customer service. What you will be doing Field Service & Maintenance: Respond to customer service and breakdown requests, perform on-site inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance
- conduct system testing to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime. Installation & Commissioning: Install, commission and modernise Hägglunds hydraulic drive systems and associated equipment, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Diagnostics & Technical Support: Perform hydraulic fault finding, product analysis and testing, prepare detailed service reports
- provide expert technical support to customers and internal stakeholders. Customer Service & Aftermarket Support: Build strong customer relationships by providing technical advice, identifying repair and spare parts opportunities, preparing service quotations
- delivering professional service that supports ongoing customer satisfaction. Documentation & Quality: Maintain accurate service documentation, including service reports, vendor quotations and delivery records, coordinate parts required for service activities
- ensure all work complies with Bosch Rexroth quality and safety standards.
- Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen. Trade qualified with a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent mechanical trade qualification. Previous experience in field service and/or hydraulic system maintenance. Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic systems and fault-finding. High attention to safety, quality and detail. Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A proactive, customer-focused approach. Current Australian Driver's Licence.
