For more information, visit Lowes India About Team Senior Financial Analyst, Stores finance team The role includes responsibility for financial metrics, reporting, build and publish of visually intuitive dashboards, forecasting and analyses of open-ended business problem statements.
A successful candidate will be highly analytical, with sharp attention to detail, and will focus on providing data-driven business and financial insights to business partners that enable sound decision-making. Roles & Responsibilities The role offers a chance to work closely with both Finance partners and Operations and business teams, providing exposure to rich business context on store operations and the opportunity to build insights that can influence decisions that drive efficient store operations.
Perform financial reporting, ad-hoc business analyses, and financial modeling Focus to ensure 100% accuracy and timely analysis Deliver projects that provide answers to strategic and tactical business questions, sometimes with basic problem statements and availability of information and variables.
Must be comfortable to deal with ambiguity. Work on complex data and deliver automated solutions, data models, dashboards to provide performance insights Work with business partners and teams in an onshore-offshore model through effective collaboration Knowledge of working scenario-based analysis / multiple approaches to tackle problems and recommending a suitable approach based on facts, figures, data.
Ability to story-tell (why/what/how) enabling decision-making Establish and maintain operating and business metrics Use analytical / statistical methods to cluster like stores, based on financial / operational metrics and attributes Manage financial planning and analysis efforts, forecasting using key input levers to the business – pricing, promotion, weather, inventory etc.
