Fleet Coordinator
Figure is an AI Robotics company developing autonomous general-purpose humanoid robots. Our mission is to deploy humanoids with human-level intelligence capable of performing a wide range of tasks across commercial and home environments. Figure is headquartered in San Jose, CA and operates with a highly collaborative, hands-on culture.
We are looking for a Fleet Coordinator to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of Figure’s robot fleet. This role serves as the operational command center for fleet allocation, ensuring the right robots are available at the right place and the right time.
You will balance competing priorities across the organization, partner closely with cross-functional teams, and build the operational framework that enables engineering velocity, customer success, and the continued scale of Figure’s humanoid robot programs
Responsibilities
- Ensure robots are strategically positioned to support engineering, customer initiatives, demonstrations, and deployments wherever they are needed.
- Oversee the day-to-day planning, scheduling, prioritization, and movement of robots across multiple teams, sites, and programs.
- Balance competing business priorities while maximizing fleet utilization and availability.
- Partner with engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to forecast fleet demand and align robot availability with company priorities.
- Drive fleet planning activities that support engineering milestones, testing, demonstrations, customer initiatives, and external deployments.
- Maintain organization-wide visibility into fleet readiness, availability, and allocation while communicating priorities and tradeoffs.
- Develop scalable fleet management processes that improve operational efficiency and support the continued growth of Figure’s robot fleet.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements that increase fleet effectiveness and execution
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing large fleets of robots, vehicles, industrial equipment, or other high-value operational assets in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience balancing competing operational priorities across multiple teams or programs.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and operational decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on robotics environment.
- Ability to travel as operational needs require.
- Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience supporting robotics, automation, or advanced hardware development programs.
- Experience with fleet planning, logistics, dispatch, resource allocation, or operations planning.
- Experience building scalable operational processes within a high-growth organization.
- Passion for helping deploy the world’s most advanced humanoid robots.
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $120,000 - $175,000 annually.
- The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills
- experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components and benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended.
