- Design and build AI-guided shopping experiences that help millions of customers discover brands on Amazon — spanning back-end recommendation systems and customer-facing front-end applications at Amazon scale. This is a full-stack role where you'll explore and ship new brand discovery experiences that directly impact how advertisers grow on Amazon. Amazon Brand Store (ABS) within Amazon Ads owns the Brand Stores CX, AX, and APIs that power the applications advertisers use to create engaging brand stores. We also serve as the landing page experience where advertisers direct customers from sponsored ads to learn more about their brands. You'll work across the full stack — from recommendation pipelines to front-end surfaces — in a highly collaborative environment with Product Managers, TPMs, SDEs, and leaders across the org. We're looking for engineers who think beyond delivering features to reducing operational burden and raising the bar on system reliability. Key job responsibilities - Design and build AI-guided shopping experiences at scale, spanning back-end recommendation pipelines and customer-facing front-end surfaces - Own features end to end: API design, data modeling, front-end rendering, metrics instrumentation, and weblab design and analysis - Collaborate with PMs, TPMs, and SDEs across teams to translate product requirements into technical designs
- lead and contribute to design reviews - Work across org boundaries to integrate with shared platforms and shape architectural decisions that affect Brand Store experiences - Proactively leverage AI to raise work quality, operational efficiency, and delivery speed
- reduce operational burden through automation, test coverage, and targeted tech debt paydown - Maintain a high bar for system reliability: define SLAs, instrument monitoring and alarms, participate in on-call, and drive post-incident reviews with clear corrective actions A day in the life https://youtu.be/FVyzfO_VbYI About the team The Sponsored Products and Brands team at Amazon Ads is re-imagining the advertising landscape through generative AI technologies, revolutionizing how millions of customers discover products and engage with brands across Amazon.com and beyond.
